We booked the master suite at Oddfellows. First of all we received a lovely, friendly welcome at reception. We were so impressed with the room, the beams and the design and layout made it so cosy. The bed was big enough to lose each other in and the twin baths were perfect. I don't usually do baths but we were in there morning and night with a coffee! The bar downstairs and the outside drinking areas are like your own personal space and if anything the website pictures does not do it justice. Definately recommend a visit!

Everything was fab, attentive staff, nice views of the beautiful secret garden. Multi-channel TV, ironing facilities and a writing desk were provided for a lovely stay at my nephew's wedding.

I loved the quirkiness of the rooms, the location - it is within walking distance of the city centre and the hotel itself is a wonder to explore

The staff are nice and the location is great
This hotel is not worth the money! Whilst the staff are nice and the location is great, the noise is terrible. We went away for a nice relaxing weekend and the music was so loud it kept me away until the early hours. And I don't mean a little bit noisy - I could hear the words to the song!

The room was lovely
It was very expensive £210.00 for a double occupance room. Odfellows if a busy bar with a 2am music licence on Friday and Saturday. hence no sleep until after 2am!!!

A Cozy Escape with Room for Improvement
The ambiance was charming, though the music during dinner was quite loud. The staff's friendliness stood out. For future guests, I recommend dining earlier to avoid the noise and ensure a more peaceful meal.

Nice bar area , comfy bed and good location . the bar staff were all excellent and helpfull
Check in was poor , parking area a dump , 1 towel between 2 , no hot water in the morning nor a paper which was requested and the music bass from the bar shook our room until 0130am , mini bar only had spirits , the stairwell was horrible and smelt and the skylight could not be covered waking us up at 6am

The room was very nice indeed apparently the best one in the hotel. The restaurant very nice and staff friendly and attentive. Its a quite a lively atmosphere in the late bar. The location was superb for shopping in chester city near all amenties. The breakfast delicious.
Probably a little noisey if you are wanting an early night! Because it is a popular place at weekends.bar etc.
